Dear Friend of VNLL,
We are writing to you on behalf of the Vista National Little League Board of Directors, which is celebrating our 66th year serving the families of Vista. We provide a safe, positive, healthy environment for children to learn, play and foster a love for baseball. We assist our youth in developing qualities of positive discipline, sportsmanship and leadership. We expect over 300 families to participate in our program during the 2020 Spring and Fall seasons and we need your support. Registration fees only cover about 1/3 of our operating costs so as you can see VNLL relies heavily on sponsorships, donations & volunteers from our community.
2019 was a great year for Vista National Little League. We saw an increase in participation from our youth where in years past we’ve seen a slow decline. It was also a year of challenges. We had the copper wire stolen from our lighting multiple times costing VNLL thousands of dollars in repairs to replace and fix. We’ve since upgraded our security camera system and put measures in place to make it nearly impossible for it to be stolen again. Unlike most Little Leagues, VNLL is responsible for the repair and maintenance to our facility. Anyone that has visited our fields lately can agree the fields our kids play on our some of the nicest looking fields in North County! As you can expect, this comes with a large cost and hundreds of volunteer hours from our community.
Your generous donations will go to some of the below projects:
- Field maintenance and supplies.
- Supplying uniforms and equipment for our kids
- Repairs to parking lot, bleachers, dugouts, fencing and storage facilities
Your donation will help us make desperately needed improvements to our fields so that all children can continue to enjoy the sport of baseball in a safe environment. We offer various levels of sponsorship with benefits that are attractive and affordable to local businesses of any size.
